This 5 star hotel is located in Vilamoura and is an ideal destination for families and golfers alike. The hotel is a colourful and charmingly designed, low-level property with bedrooms in the main building and garden villas spread out through the tree-lined grounds.

Even though Vilamoura began to flourish as a tourist destination in the 1970s, its history stretches back much further and the Cerro da Vila Roman ruins, which can be found in the town’s museum (of the same name), hint at the ancient origins of the town.
The marina is without doubt the entertainment centre with many shops, restaurants, bars and clubs in the area. This is also where you will find the grand Vilamoura Casino with its avant-garde décor.
Vilamoura is a short distance from some beautiful beaches such as the Vilamoura beach to the East, and the spectacular Falésia beach to the West which is part of stretch of sand that measures over 5km in length, so we’re sure you’ll find a space to sunbathe.
Vilamoura’s prime location makes it ideally placed to enjoy a range of activities including boat trips, fishing, windsurfing, jet skiing, and golf.

Driving Directions from Faro Airport to Pestana Vila Sol (Vilamoura)
Exit Faro Airport and follow signs for N125 / A22 / Lisboa / Portimão. After about 3 km, take the ramp onto the IC4 / N125 heading west.
Stay on the N125 for about 10 km, then follow signs to merge onto the A22 motorway (also known as Via do Infante), heading west toward Albufeira / Portimão.
Drive on the A22 for about 10–12 km then take Exit 12 for Boliqueime / Vilamoura / Quarteira.
At the roundabout at the end of the exit ramp, take the exit toward Vilamoura. Continue straight for about 3–4 km, following signs for Vila Sol / Morgadinhos.
You’ll see Pestana Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel well signposted on your right.
