Housed within an impressive 11th century Benedictine monastery, the Parador de Corias makes full use of this splendid building’s architectural features. The site was declared a site of historic national importance and it is easy to see why. The rectangular building is 8000 square metres and comprises two patios together with numerous archways and cloisters. The site also boasts a Tuscan style church where visitors can marvel at the great baroque altarpiece whose sculptures depict the foundation of the monastery.
The interior of the building retains a genuinely monastic style, combining this with the comfort of a modern, contemporary hotel. Among the Corias Parador’s facilities are a spacious restaurant, a café, as well as a lounge for relaxing and chatting. The hotel also boasts a spa complete with leisure pool, treatment rooms and gymnasium.
The Parador de Corias has various meeting and conference rooms ready to accommodate conventions, banquets or other events. These rooms can also be used in combination with the exterior terraces and their two cloisters.
